On my initial inspection of the SAMSUNG 990 EVO SSD 2TB I was particularly drawn by its black material construction. It is small and does not take much space in my computer and yet it comes with 2 TB storage space.
I had the drive with me and the process of installation was quite easy. I guess it is as simple as plugging it into the M. 2 slot on my motherboard and fastening it with a single screw. It took me less than five minutes to complete the entire process, and I was ready for the lights-of-looks speeds this SSD had in stock for me.
When it comes to speed, this drive doesn’t leave anyone disappointed. As for its I/O, it features a PCIe Gen 4×4 interface, and it is compatible with Gen 5×2, and when so, the max read speed that I’ve measured of it lands at 5,000MB/s. The start up of my computer is faster than before as well as the transfer of the large files happens in a twinkle of an eye.

It has been a few months since I bought the car drive and all through this period, I have not experienced any form of unreliability. It is safe to say there have been no crashes, no loss in data, and only high-performance. I like the fact that my data is saved on such a reliable gadget that won’t fail to amaze me at any one time.
All in all, M not satisfied with M SAMSUNG 990 EVO SSD. Mainly it has improved my computing even if it means making everything faster and more efficient. I can honestly say that if you have any doubt about the benefits of upgrading your storage then this drive is perfect. It is well deserved because it does increase the speed and hence, the performance of the device.
